The RoughRiders are at the Sod Poodles for their final series of the 2021 season.
Out of a 120-game season (one game was canceled due to covid), it comes down to the last seven games for the Frisco RoughRiders along with five other teams. The Midland RockHounds are mathematically still in the picture but they need a small miracle to make it.
As of now here is the race for the post-season in the Double-A Central.
|Wichita Wind Surge||65-49||.570|
|Northwest Arkansas Naturals||60-53||.531|
This last 7-game series with the Amarillo Sod Poodles at Hodgetown is the most important series of the season for the RoughRiders.
The Frisco RoughRiders have a 13-10 against the Amarillo Sod Poodles this season.
7-5 at Riders Field
6-5 at Hodgetown
Here is a look at the RoughRiders rotation for this series:
- Tues: LHP Cole Ragans (2-1, 5.46)
- Wed: LHP Cody Bradford (2-0, 2.27)
- Wed: RHP Noah Bremer (5-3, 4.41)
- Thu: RHP Cole Winn (3-3, 2.40)
- Fri: RHP Tim Brennan (0-2, 2.70)
- Sat: RHP Ronny Henriquez (4-4, 5.04)
- Sun: RHP Zak Kent (0-4, 5.18)
Here are some team stats to see how well these teams match up.
The RoughRiders really need to win five of the seven games. If they are able to do that, they should be able to secure that 2nd spot in the five-game post-season.
