Texas Rangers Prospect Update
Sam Huff: The power hitting catching prospect was called up by the Rangers on September 10th and has struggled up to this point. Struggles are to be expected for the youngster as this is his first taste of playing above high-a. For the remainder of the season expect him to be splitting time with Jeff Mathis. Leody Taveras: Taveras was once a highly touted prospect in the low minors, but the hype surrounding him has decreased substantially due to inconsistent performance against higher level pit

Some exciting things happened in this win. Kyle Cody earned his 1st career win and Sam Huff hit his 1st home run. Hop

Odor to IL, Anderson Tejeda, Eli White called up
After what many Ranger fans view as a failed trade deadline, the Rangers have announced more roster moves. Eli White called up along with Anderson Tejeda and pitcher John King. John King Rougned Odor is heading to the IL for his eye infection that has had him benched. It appears that what we've been calling for is going to happen. It's time to let the prospects play. After a rough start; it's time for the Texas Rangers to play their prospects
This goes without saying but I'm going to say it anyway, "This is not the typical baseball season". Heck, if it was maybe I probably don't fully buy into this idea but hear me out. It's time for the Rangers to play their prospects. The Rangers have lost 8 games in a row after losing the 3-game series to the Mariners. This team isn't performing up to their ability, or maybe they are. Either way we are not a .500 baseball team. The Rangers are currently 10-17 with only 33 games left to play. It is

Anderson Tejeda steals the show in MLB debut
Anderson Tejeda is one of the Rangers top prospects and he stole the show in his MLB debut against the Athletics. No one would have predicted that he would have made his debut this year and if this was a normal season, he probably wouldn't have. But yet, here we are Anderson Tejeda's MLB debut was an absolute home run! Unfortunately for the Rangers, they were swept out of Oakland and lost by a final of 6-4 and now have a 3-8 record but the rookie impressed. Unfortunately, the Rangers lost by
My Bowman Draft baseball card collection: some favorite prospects
Until recently, I haven't touched a baseball card since I was in my early teens. I was never a huge collector but always had some Nolan Ryan cards on hand. I never lost touch with the love of the game of baseball though. My mom was always my favorite to talk baseball with and believe me; if the Rangers were playing, the game was on. Unfortunately, she passed away in June of last year but because of her baseball is in my blood. I just started collecting baseball cards again this year starting wi
