The Corpus Christi Hooks (Houston Astros) come to Frisco for a 3-game series.

July was not the best month for Bahr. In 22.1 innings he had a 6.04 earned run average and opponents hit for a .313 average.


SP: Bryan Abreu, RHP (5-2, 5.17)

MLB Debut: July 31, 2019

Last game: His Major-League Debut he pitched 1 scoreless inning against the Cleveland Indians and threw 17 pitches.

Abreu signed with the Astros in 2013 when he was just 16 years old. In July opposing line-ups hit for a .284 average and a 6.05 earned run average.

SP: Ronald Herrera (2-2, 6.51)

In July, opposing line-ups hit for an average of of .269 against him, which was his best month of the year. His earned run average was 5.32 which was the also the best of the year for him.


SP: Yohan Ramirez, RHP (2-3, 4.35)

Last game 8/1: 3.2 IP, 1 R, 2 H, 3 BB, 4 SO, 70 pitches against the Midland RockHounds.

In July he had a 2-1 record with a superb 1.61 earned run average. Opponents hit .097 against him for the month in 22.1 innings.

SP: Tyler Phillips, RHP (4-8, 5.86)

Last start 8/1: 4.2 IP, 7 R, 3 ER, 10 H, 2 SO, 89 pitches against the Amarillo Sod Poodles.

July was Phillips’ best month in Frisco. He held opponents to a .185 batting average and a 3.13 earned run average in 23 innings.


SP: Brett Adcock, LHP (1-7, 6.39)

Last start 8/1: 4.2 IP, 2 R, 3 H, 3 BB, 9 SO, 85 pitches against the Midland RockHounds.

Adcock held opposing line-ups to a .222 average in July with a 3.57 earned run average. For the year right-handed batters are hitting .266 while Left-handed batters are hitting .200.
